Every frame begins with an idea drawn by Thierry Lasry in Paris. Lines, angles and proportions are refined to create a silhouette that feels architectural, expressive and instantly recognizable.
The design is carefully balanced across the brow, bridge and temples. Each curve and cut-out is considered not only for visual impact, but for how the frame sits upon and shapes the face.
Premium acetate is chosen for its depth, durability and richness of color. Particular attention is given to the interaction between tones, patterns and transparencies before the material is cut.
The frame front and temples are precisely cut from sheets of acetate. The original drawing begins to take physical form as each component is shaped according to the design’s exact dimensions.
Artisans refine the contours, bevels and volumes by hand. This careful sculpting gives each frame its dimension, from sharply defined angles to the softened edges that make it comfortable to wear.
The acetate is polished through multiple stages to reveal its color and natural luminosity. Hinges, temples and lenses are then carefully fitted and adjusted by specialist artisans in France and Italy.
Every frame is examined for proportion, alignment, finish and fit. Only after the smallest details have been checked does the design leave the workshop as a finished Thierry Lasry object.
